In the dynamic landscape of higher education, collaboration and innovation are essential for progress. TUM International GmbH (TUMint) is proud to be one of the three acceleration partners in the Accelerate Future HEI project, a groundbreaking initiative funded by the European Union and spearheaded by the University Industry Innovation Network (UIIN). The Accelerate Future HEI project is a dynamic initiative that aims to propel Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) into the future by fostering innovation, collaboration, and entrepreneurship. This EU-funded project, under the leadership of UIIN, brings together a diverse consortium of institutions committed to shaping the future of higher education.

As an integral part of the consortium, TUMint has actively contributed to the project’s goals. We recognise that fostering an entrepreneurial mindset is crucial for navigating the rapidly changing landscape of higher education. Our commitment to entrepreneurship and innovation aligns seamlessly with the objectives of the Accelerate Future HEI initiative. We all believe in the importance of entrepreneurship and the cultivation of an entrepreneurial mindset in the higher education environment.

In the context of the Accelerate Future HEI project, TUMint is responsible for the Monitoring and Evaluation work package. A comprehensive M&E tool with respective guidelines was developed and shared with the implementation partners within a joint workshop. As the first project year is coming to an end and we look ahead to the next phases of the Accelerate Future HEI initiative, TUMint is very excited to start working with the partners on using and implementing the M&E tool and monitoring their progress. We are committed to guiding the consortium partners through their journey of fostering entrepreneurship and monitoring and evaluating the progress of their institutions. The long-term goal is to not only enhance their ability to adapt to change but also inspire a culture of innovation and resilience within the institutions.

As we start 2024, TUMint is honoured to be an active participant in the Accelerate Future HEI project and are very much looking forward to hosting the second, two-day in-person partner meeting from 31st January 2024, in the Technical University of Munich.
