In November, the atmosphere at UCLL, University of Applied Sciences, was charged with anticipation and excitement as the institution unveiled its 5 new strategic objectives.
As there are many commonalities between the objectives of the Accelerate Future HEI project and the new strategic goals of UCLL, researchers Katrien Vandael and Lotte Ovaere wanted to be present and contribute to the discussions shaping the future direction of UCLL. Specifically, the goal of creating changemakers piqued their interest as it emphasized the importance of adapting to the rapidly evolving educational landscape and the need for institutions to be proactive in their strategies.
The future of UCLL looks promising with these new strategic objectives, which aim to enhance the university’s role in driving societal change and economic growth. Katrien and Lotte highlighted how the Accelerate Future HEI project aligns perfectly with these goals, focusing on creating a dynamic environment where students and faculty can thrive as innovators and entrepreneurs.
Their presence at the strategy day underscored the commitment of UCLL to set ambitious goals and actively involve key stakeholders in the process. By creating a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation, UCLL is poised to become a leading institution that not only adapts to change but also drives it.
